| dc.description.abstract | This report describes, briefly, my work in Pharmacy Cristo Rei and in Hospital Santa Maria Maior, between March and July 2016, as the skills acquired.
The traineeship of the Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences is essential to complete this course of studies, the practical component in order to complement my theoretical knowledge through a professional reality. This report demonstrating the operation of a hospital and community pharmacy, dealing daily with clients and other professionals.
The community pharmacy promotes health through the service delivery, basing on the population's needs, achieving the satisfaction of its users.
In order to achieve the desired quality, it is important to provide goals to guide the team. These objectives are based on the organization, management, standardization, continuous improvement and user satisfaction stipulated in the own pharmacy.
The hospital pharmacy is essential for dispensing health care and for the functioning of a hospital, so it has not only the function of providing the population's needs. Here, the pharmacy ensures therapy to patients, quality, effectiveness and safety of medicines supplied to them. Pharmacists integrate health teams interacting directly with other health professionals.
The inserted daily work in two different work teams, both very important, handed me the values and the attitude that a professional should choose. During this time, i’ve also learnt how to deal with unexpected situations or even with some errors, that can happen and how to solve them.
Here in this report i want to emphasize the medicine circuit, management and the delivery service, the identifying the pharmaceutical performance mode and the operation of community and hospital pharmacies.
