Incidência dos fatores associados à Hiipomineralização incisivo-molar

Abstract

Introdução: Hipomineralização incisivo-molar (HIM) é uma patologia onde ocorre a desmineralização do esmalte nos primeiros molares e incisivos permanentes, sendo capaz de afetar um ou vários dentes ao mesmo tempo. Objetivo: Estabelecer a influencia e associação dos fatores pré-natais, perinatais e pós-nataiscom a presença de HIM nos primeiros molares e incisivos permanentes. Material e métodos: Realizou-se uma pesquisaintegrativa utilizando-se a base de dados eletrônicaPubMed, com estudos que investigam e comparam os fatores etiológicos ambientais do Síndrome de hipomineralização incisivo-molar, especificamente para determinar possíveis fatores que possam induzir o aparecimento de tais lesões dentárias.Resultados:um grande número de estudos encontrou relações estatísticas significativas entre as lesões do HIM e os fatores pré-natais, perinatais e pós-natais, destacando doenças durante a gravidez, uso excessivo de antibióticos, partos prematuros e complicações durante o parto. Discussão:Os autores pesquisados concordam com a necessidade urgente de realizar novos estudos sobre a prevalência de hipomineralização incisivo-molar, a fim de estabelecer a frequência real dessa patologia, conhecer os fatores ambientais e etiológicos que afetam o aparecimento desse tipo de alteração, que influenciam significativamente o desenvolvimento do esmalte. Conclusões: Ressalta-se que a etiologia da hipomineralização incisivo-molar não foi totalmente definida, embora existam uma variedade de fatores de risco, bem como algumas alterações ambientais, febres altas e doenças respiratórias, uso excessivo de antibióticos, que podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento dessa patologia odontológica.

Introduction: Incisor-molar hypomineralization (HIM) is a pathology that occurs as the desmineralization of enamel in the first molars and permanent incisors, being able to affect one or several teeth at the same time. Objective: To establish the influencaand association of prenatal, perinatal and posnatal factors with the presence of the HIM in first molars and permanent incisors. Material and methods: Anintegrativeresearch was carried out using the electronic database PubMed, with studies that investigate and compared the environmental etiological factors of incisive-molar hypomineralization syndrome, specifically to determine possible factos that may affect the appearance of such dental injuries. Results: A large number of estudies have found significant relationships between HIM lesions and prenatal, perinatal and postnatal factors, highlighting illnesses during pregnancy, antibiotic overuse, premature births, and complications during childbirth. Discussion: the authors surveyes agree with the urgent need to carry out further studies on the prevalence of incisor-molar hypomineralization, in order to establish the actual frequency of this pathology, to know the enviromental and etilogical factors that affect the appearance of this type of alteration, which significantly influence the enamel development. Conclusions: It is noteworthy that the etiology of incisive-molar hypomineralization has not been fully defined, although there are a variety of risk factors, as well as some enviromental changes, high fevers and respiratory diseases, excessive use of antibiotics that can contribute to the development of this dental pathology.
