FECHO DE DIASTEMA COM RESTAURAÇÕES EM RESINA COMPOSTA APÓS O TRATAMENTO ORTODÔNTICO

Abstract

Os diastemas na região anterior são um problema estético. Com a descoberta de novas técnicas, mais conservadoras, materiais mais modernos e duradouros, redução de tempo clínico e diminuição do custo de tratamento, o fecho de diastemas tornou-se um dos mais procurados tratamentos estéticos. Este sendo associado ao tratamento ortodôntico como fator de melhoria estética e funcional, além de resultados previsíveis e mais rápidos. Os médicos dentistas utilizam em larga escala esta técnica. O objetivo desta revisão sistemática é avaliar as evidências científicas sobre o fecho de diastemas através da utilização de resinas compostas diretas, após tratamento ortodôntico, assim determinando as vantagens e desvantagens deste tipo de tratamento.

Diastemas in the anterior region are aesthetic problems. With the discovery of new techniques, more conservative, modern and long-lasting materials, reduction of clinical time and cost of treatments, the closure of diastemas has become one of the most types of aesthetic treatments recently. This being associated with orthodontic as a factor of aesthetic and functional improvements, in addition to predictable and faster results. Dentists mind this technique on a large scale. The aim of this review is to evaluate how scientific evidence on the closure of diastema through the use of direct composite resins, after orthodontic treatment, determines as well as advantages and this type of treatment.
